PBK Architects – 2017 – Project Architect/Manager
This project is a major addition and renovation of a 2,500 student high school. Sections of the school were demolished in sequence and replaced or relocated as part of new additions. The project spanned six semesters while the school remained in use. The phasing of construction was carefully planned out so that the ongoing work did not interfere with the function of the school, ensuring that each portion of the campus remained functional and code compliant throughout each phase. A new career technology facility was added to the campus, including an advanced metal fabrication shop that utilizes CNC machinery to work on projects in conjunction with NASA. And additional practice gymnasium was added along with the replacement of all athletic locker rooms. The stage was renovated including the addition of a full fly loft. The kitchen and serving lines were renovated as well as several athletic buildings and playing fields
